On the morning of May 16, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation organized the Award Ceremony "Nghe An Workers Follow Uncle Ho's Words" for the first time in 2026; and at the same time commended typical advanced collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in the period 2023-2025.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Mr. Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province and representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, and sectors.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that the program was organized in the historic May days, on the occasion of the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, in response to Workers' Month 2026, to celebrate the success of the 11th Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031.
According to Mr. Kha Van Tam, during his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always paid special attention to the working class and the Trade Union organization. Engraving Uncle Ho's teachings, in recent years, Nghe An trade union levels have constantly innovated the content and methods of operation; promoted patriotic emulation movements, good labor, creative labor, linking studying and following Uncle Ho with each job position, professional task and specific actions of union members and workers.
In particular, the implementation of Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo on continuing to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style is increasingly going deeper, more practical and effective. Many good models, technical innovation initiatives, and many projects and products have emerged from emulation movements, bringing great value to businesses and society.
For the first time organized, the "Nghe An Workers Follow Uncle Ho's Words" Award selected 8 typical workers out of more than 100,000 direct workers at enterprises in the province. According to regulations, the award will be maintained periodically every 2 years on May 19.
According to the organizers, these are typical individuals in many fields of production and business, always striving to overcome difficulties, enthusiastically working, creating and having many initiatives that benefit businesses.
Typically, Mr. Thai Binh Duong - TH Dairy Joint Stock Company has many works that have won provincial and national science and technology innovation awards, has been honored as "National Excellent Young Worker" and has received many Creative Labor Certificates from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Mr. Hoa Van Tan - Minh Anh - Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company is the core in the creative labor movement at the enterprise with 160 initiatives, bringing billions of VND in value to the unit.
Not only are there typical examples in production labor, the program also spreads beautiful stories about the spirit of responsibility and compassion. Among the individuals commended is Ms. Nguyen Thuy Trang, who is working at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, who bravely regained the life of a child in an emergency situation.
Along with awarding prizes to 8 typical workers, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation also commended and honored 7 collectives and 10 typical advanced individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style in the period 2023-2025.
On the same day, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation organized a delegation to offer incense and report achievements to President Ho Chi Minh at Kim Lien Relic Site for individuals who won the "Nghe An Workers Follow Uncle Ho's Words" Award phase I in 2026 and typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style in the 2023-2025 period.
