Providing support to union members affected by storm No. 3 in Thai Binh

The Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor has just visited and presented gifts to union members, workers and laborers affected by storm No. 3.

According to initial reports from the direct superior trade unions, after storm No. 3, 62 units and enterprises in Thai Binh province suffered damage. Of these, 11 enterprises were forced to stop production, causing 2,120 workers to temporarily stop working for 2 to 20 days for the enterprises to repair and fix the problem.

To promptly visit and support union members and workers affected by the storm, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor went to Hoa Cuong Infrastructure Construction and Materials Company Limited (Quynh Phu district) to give gifts to 36 union members and workers who had to stop working for more than 14 days so that the company could overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3.

In Hung Ha district, the district Labor Federation organized a support of 45 million VND to 15 families of union members from 11 units and enterprises whose roofs were blown off or houses collapsed due to storm No. 3 to support them in repairing and recovering.

Mr. Bui Xuan Vinh - Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that the Union's timely visit and encouragement to union members and workers affected by storm No. 3 is to support and motivate union members and workers to overcome immediate difficulties to stabilize their lives.
