On June 10, the Thoi Lai District Labor Federation announced that the unit had just held a conference to summarize the activities of the school trade union for the 2024-2025 school year.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the School Trade Unions have completed and summarized the movement among civil servants, workers as well as trade union activities in the past school year. At the same time, build goals and tasks in the new year with policies and solutions associated with the political tasks of the industry, ensuring suitability for implementation.
In order to promote activities to care for the welfare and interests of union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, with the theme "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", the District School Trade Unions presented 2,368 gifts, worth over 1.7 billion VND.
The units coordinated with the Can Tho City Labor Federation Capital Support Fund to prepare loan support documents for 30 union members in difficulty, and are reviewing and finalizing a loan group with an amount of more than 35 million VND.
The District Labor Federation coordinated with the District Cultural, Sports and Communications Center to organize a sports festival "Celebrating the Party, celebrating Spring", mobilizing and attracting about 200 athletes who are workers, civil servants, armed forces, students, and laborers from the district and 13 communes and towns to participate in the competition.
During the school year, 5 Union Shelters were started and 1 shelter was repaired for union members with difficult housing circumstances. The total support amount is 270 million VND from the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund in Can Tho. The mobilization of the Golden Heart Fund reached 100.15% of the target with the amount of 151.8 million VND.
The units have registered 24 models of skillful mass mobilization and 3 district-level emulation product projects. Of which, 2 works are dedicated to the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025 - 2030 and 1 work is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification).
At the ceremony, the Thoi Lai District Labor Federation commended many individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in emulation movements and building a strong Trade Union organization.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also presented 65 scholarships and 50 gifts to children of union members in difficult circumstances in the area, from the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund in Can Tho and social mobilization. Thereby, promptly sharing and encouraging the spirit of students to continue to overcome difficulties and study well. At the same time, it demonstrated the concern and care of the district's Trade Unions at all levels for the children of union members on the occasion of the Children's Action Month 2025.
