On June 10, information from the People's Committee of Hoang Tien commune, Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province said that a series of illegal construction works on Hai Tien beach, carried out by EURO Tourism and Trading Company Limited (abbreviated as EURO Company), have been dismantled, cleared, and returned to the site by the authorities.
According to the representative of the People's Committee of Hoang Tien commune, on June 2, the local government has developed a plan for compulsory clearance for illegal construction works in the EURO Company project area. The dismantling was carried out according to the conclusion in the inspection record dated March 15.
As of the afternoon of June 5, EURO's illegal constructions close to the coast have been completely dismantled.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, during the process of checking construction order in the area, the People's Committee of Hoang Tien Commune discovered EURO Company illegally constructing many items in the embankment area. There are 5 works including bathrooms and toilets; of which, 2 works have built walls, 2 works have completed foundations and concrete pillars, 1 work has completed the foundation.
Immediately after discovering the violation, the Commune People's Committee issued a record, requiring the enterprise to stop construction and dismantle all illegal constructions before March 31.
However, as of April 1, EURO Company has not yet complied with the request and has not yet presented any legal documents related to the construction of the above works.
At the end of April 2025, the People's Committee of the commune continued to inspect and recorded that the company continued to construct, including the plastic tiled roofing item. The Commune People's Committee has reported the incident to the Hoang Hoa District People's Committee and the District Economic - Infrastructure Department for handling according to its authority.
After receiving the report, the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa district issued a document directing the People's Committee of Hoang Tien commune, the district's specialized departments and EURO Company to urgently dismantle illegal construction works in the coastal area of Hoang Tien commune.
The demolition must be completed before June 5 and the results must be reported to the District People's Committee before June 7. After completion, the local government is responsible for strict management and preventing repeated violations.
