Quang Ninh - On the afternoon of March 5, the Provincial Party Trade Union of Agencies coordinated with the Ha Long City Labor Federation to organize the giving of Ao Dai to workers.

At Weitai Ha Long Textile Co., Ltd. (Viet Hung Industrial Park, Ha Long City), leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union and the Ha Long City Federation of Labor presented 500 sets of ao dai to female workers of the company, especially those in difficult circumstances.

The program is part of the 3rd "Giving Ao Dai, Sending Love, Preserving Traditional Beauty" activity, with the goal of spreading the beauty of Ao Dai - Vietnamese cultural heritage

The activity is not only a practical gift on the occasion of International Women's Day 8.3 but also responds to "Ao Dai Week", helping female workers have the opportunity to wear traditional costumes on a special day.

The program also conveys the message about the image of Vietnamese women "Confident - Self-respect - Mid-life - frame of mind", honoring female workers in the new era: knowledgeable, ethical, healthy, dynamic, creative, civilized and friendly.

Over the past 3 years, the Provincial Party Trade Union (formerly the Provincial Civil Servants' Union) has mobilized, donated and presented nearly 3,000 sets of Ao Dai to workers in the area.

This meaningful activity continues to affirm the role of the trade union organization in caring for the spiritual life of workers, while contributing to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the nation.
