This is the first program in the "Full Moon Festival" series implemented by the Hanoi City Labor Federation at 3 locations in the City, aimed at children of union members, workers, civil servants, laborers, especially children in difficult circumstances.
Right from the beginning of the program, the yard of Kim Chung Kindergarten (Thien Loc commune, Hanoi) became bustling with art performances, lion - dragon dances, magic, giao luu games and the Mid-Autumn Festival feast breaking program. Children were playing, receiving gifts and immersing themselves in the atmosphere of the festival night.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Bui Huyen Mai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City said that this is an opportunity to send feelings, care and good wishes to children; and at the same time express the care of the City, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Trade Union organization for union members, workers, civil servants, laborers and their families.
According to Ms. Bui Huyen Mai, there are families that are still facing many difficulties, in which parents work at factories and industrial parks every day, spending a lot of time and effort on labor and production.
Family, school and the whole society will always be by your side, accompany and create conditions for your children to study, play, develop comprehensively and gradually realize their good dreams" - Ms. Bui Huyen Mai advised.
At the Program, 40 children of workers in difficult circumstances were directly supported by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City and the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation, each child with 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300,000 VND. The Dong Anh Commune Party Committee also presented 20 gifts to children of workers in difficult circumstances.
Towards the Mid-Autumn Festival of 2026, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City is implementing support for 4,023 gifts for 4,023 disadvantaged children in the City.
Based on the proposal of the Hanoi Labor Federation, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City supported 1,000 gifts in cash, each worth 1 million VND, to give to children of workers in difficult circumstances.
Along with that, the City Labor Federation presented 650 gifts in cash, each worth 1 million VND, and 1,650 gifts in kind, each worth 300,000 VND, to children of workers in particularly difficult circumstances.
The next two programs will take place at 7:00 PM on September 24th in Ha Dong and Phuc Loi wards. In Ha Dong ward, the program is held at 2 Ha Cau street, for children of workers belonging to 9 units of Emulation Cluster No. 6 and the Trade Union of High-Tech Parks and Hanoi Industrial Parks. In Phuc Loi ward, the program is held at the main school point of Phuc Loi Primary School, for children of workers belonging to 10 units of Emulation Cluster No. 5 and the Trade Union of High-Tech Parks and Hanoi Industrial Parks.
