According to the People's Police Trade Union (CAND), in the period 2021-2025, the CAND Trade Union actively participates in building and perfecting policies and laws to ensure the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; developing diverse and effective activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
Regarding the work of participating in building and perfecting policies and laws, representing and protecting the rights of workers, the People's Public Security Trade Union proactively participates in building, contributing opinions, and criticizing resolutions, policies, and projects related to salary regimes, social insurance, working conditions, welfare and legitimate rights of union members and workers in the People's Public Security Forces.
Organized 25 dialogues and 81 social supervision - criticism sessions, focusing on salary policies, social insurance, training, planning, rewards, working conditions and occupational safety and health. Organized more than 1,500 legal dissemination sessions, consulting and resolving hundreds of union member's recommendations.
100% of enterprises in the People's Public Security Forces organize employee conferences; negotiate and sign collective labor agreements with clauses that are more beneficial than the law (overtime meals from 22,000-52,000 VND/person; female labor policy, occupational safety and health). The average salary of union members with labor contracts in People's Public Security Forces enterprises is from 12-30 million VND/month; 100% of enterprises ensure Tet salaries and bonuses (the highest level is 44 million VND/person)...
Also in the period 2021-2025, the Trade Union Shelter Program supported the construction and repair of more than 150 houses for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
The work of participating in training and fostering to improve the level of education, expertise, professional skills, industrial style, and labor discipline for workers is emphasized. The People's Public Security Trade Union participates in proposing, building, and perfecting mechanisms and policies to mobilize social resources for training, fostering, and vocational conversion in the People's Public Security Forces; coordinating with People's Public Security schools to organize professional training to build a team of brave, disciplined, humane, and creative workers and laborers.
Organized more than 60 trade union professional training/training classes for more than 10,000 turns of officials with updated content on Trade Union Charter, Labor Code, digital skills, AI technology, network security, modern communication skills...
