Article 11 of the Law on Social Insurance 2024 stipulates:
Responsibilities of participants and beneficiaries of social insurance regimes
1. Social insurance participants are responsible for the following:
a) Pay social insurance according to the provisions of this Law;
b) Monitoring the implementation of social insurance responsibilities for themselves;
c) Declare accurately, honestly, and fully the information in accordance with the regulations on social insurance registration.
2. Social insurance beneficiaries are responsible for the following:
a) Implement regulations on procedures, order, and other regulations on enjoying social insurance regimes as prescribed in this Law and other relevant legal provisions;
b) Reversal of social insurance benefits when there is a decision by a competent authority determining the benefits not to comply with regulations;
c) Every year, beneficiaries of social insurance regimes through personal accounts opened at banks are responsible for coordinating with social insurance agencies or service organizations authorized by social insurance agencies to verify information that is eligible for social insurance regimes.
Accordingly, beneficiaries of social insurance benefits must refund social insurance benefits when there is a decision by a competent authority determining that the benefits are not in accordance with regulations.
