73 outstanding union officials have just been honored by the District 8 Labor Federation, Ho Chi Minh City at the 17th Workers' Month summary conference in 2025.
Mr. Tran Van Thang - Vice Chairman of the District 8 Labor Federation, Ho Chi Minh City - said that in order to recognize and commend the contributions of the team of union officials, the District 8 Labor Federation has deployed a document guiding the review and voting to honor the title "Our union official" at the district level in 2025.
There have been 115 applications from grassroots unions in the district. Through reviewing the standards, the District Labor Federation has selected and commended 73 qualified district-level union officials, and 7 union officials were proposed to be commended at the City level.
These are exemplary union officials, truly a solid bridge between the union organization and union members and workers.
The commendation of these union officials is not only a worthy recognition of their pioneering, responsible and creative role, but also a motivation for union officials to continue to promote their role and actively contribute to the development of the Vietnam and local trade union organizations.
