On July 12, the Social Insurance (SI) of the XXVII Region coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Post Office to organize a communication launching ceremony in response to Vietnam Health Insurance Day with the theme: "Health Insurance always accompanies people in health care and protection".
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Tran Dung Ha - Deputy Director of Social Insurance Region XXVII - said that the Law on Social Insurance 2024 and the Law amending and supplementing the Law on Health Insurance 2024 have had amendments in the direction of increasing benefits, simplifying procedures, and expanding participatory groups. The effective implementation of the above two laws requires the participation of the grassroots, especially when localities are reorganizing the administrative apparatus according to a new model. This is both an opportunity and a challenge to bring policies to the right people and to the right areas.
At the ceremony, the Social Insurance of the XXVII region presented 20 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, the propaganda groups of the Social Insurance of the XXVII region and the Ho Chi Minh City Post Office directly visited markets, residential areas, boarding houses, cultural houses... to advise and support people to participate in voluntary social insurance, household health insurance and introduce new policies according to the Law on Social Insurance 2024 and the Law amending and supplementing the Law on Health Insurance 2024.
