Taking patients as the center
Comprehensive health management application for patients by MSc. Le Thanh Dao - Acting Head of the Information Technology Department of Bach Mai Hospital and colleagues.
MSc. Le Thanh Dao said that the foundation of the digital transformation revolution at Bach Mai Hospital begins with the most practical utilities, directly serving patients. In particular, the comprehensive health management application for patients plays the role of a digital bridge.
When using this application, people can proactively book a check-up in advance, choose a specialist, choose a doctor, choose a suitable examination time right at home, thereby minimizing waiting time and crowded gatherings at the hospital.
In addition, patients can easily look up test results, prescriptions and track the entire health check-up process at Bach Mai Hospital, including proactively managing personal and family health records ( settling down or young children).
Another pioneering highlight of the application is that this is the first medical facility in the country to connect for authentication and digital signature via VNeID. This integration demonstrates a strategic vision, aiming to synchronize with the national digital ecosystem and create a seamless and complete data flow for patients.
MSc. Le Thanh Dao said that self-developing a comprehensive management system helps Bach Mai to flexibly customize, ensure data security and optimize processes according to specific needs, thereby improving operational efficiency and user experience in the most effective way. This application was honored to receive the "Creative Labor 2025" award from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
