Creating a bridge between Vietnam Airlines and future generations of employees
Right from the first time it was held, Vietnam Airlines Job Fair 2025 has proven the special attraction of the aviation industry to the younger generation. More than 1,600 students and young workers attended the event to seek career opportunities.
The event gathered nearly 25 member units of Vietnam Airlines Group, introducing 8 professional groups from flight operations, flight attendance, engineering to trade and services. For the first time, Vietnam Airlines' professional ecosystem has been fully recreated, showing that an airline not only has pilots or flight attendants but also hundreds of other diverse job positions.
During the festival, many students found a connection between their major and their professional positions at Vietnam Airlines. Duc Nguyen, a student at the Diplomatic Academy, excitedly said: I am especially interested in the content of the work of the Legal Department because I see that this field has a lot of potential to learn and apply the knowledge I am studying. This will be the goal I want to aim for in my career journey.
Vietnam Airlines Job Fair 2025 also brings the opportunity to take a direct entrance exam right at the receptionist Team's booth, attracting many candidates with a serious, confident mindset and determination to conquer their dreams.
Strengthening cooperation in training and nurturing high-quality human resources
Over the years, the airline has coordinated with universities to implement practical learning programs, expand internship opportunities and create direct routes from schools to businesses.
Typically, the airline agreed to cooperate in developing an Aviation Engineering training program between Hanoi University of Science and Technology (USTH), Vietnam Airlines and Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (VAECO). The tripartite cooperation model has brought many positive results, contributing to the development of high-quality aviation human resources for Vietnam.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Dang - Vice Principal of USTH - said: "From the stage of program development, output standard design, organization of practice and internship, to capacity assessment and recruitment orientation, there is close coordination between all parties. This approach helps ensure that students are trained according to the actual needs of the business and have the ability to work right after graduation.
If USTH is a technical pillar, Hanoi National University of Economics and Business (UEB) is a strategic partner of Vietnam Airlines in training human resources for governance, economics, logistics and supply chains. Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Khac Lich - Vice Principal of the school - commented: "Vietnam Airlines brings an international standard ecosystem of governance, operations, logistics, safety, services and human governance, allowing the school to deploy a research training model associated with practice, including global standards in the curriculum".
Building 5-star human resources
Successfully organizing the 2025 Job Fair is an important step in Vietnam Airlines' strategy of building the next generation of employees. This is a key period for the airline to reach 5-star international standards, requiring a high-quality, flexible workforce and mastering technology.
Speaking at the event, General Director Le Hong Ha emphasized: Digital transformation, artificial intelligence and new technologies are changing the way the aviation industry operates. Vietnam Airlines is entering a new stage of development: More modern, greener and ready to compete more strongly in the international market. To achieve that, we really need a new generation of human resources: Strong in knowledge, flexible, good at technology and daring to innovate.
A representative of the Vietnam Airlines Human Resources Organization Board said that the airline is focusing on developing digital human resources, training digital skills for staff, building a digital culture throughout the system, and sending staff to study in countries with advanced technology. The company also aims to build a multi-talented team, take on many roles, and at the same time focus on remuneration policies and retain talent.
