According to the plan of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, from March 16 to March 20, the unit will implement many key tasks to improve the effectiveness of trade union activities and better care for union members and workers.
In which, the Provincial Labor Federation implements the procedures for establishing the Trade Union Charity Fund according to Decree No. 03/2026/ND-CP dated January 9, 2026 of the Government. The Fund aims to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, the unit attends the 2026 Employee Conference at affiliated grassroots trade unions to grasp the thoughts and recommendations of employees, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations at enterprises.
The Provincial Labor Federation is also preparing to organize a conference of cadres, civil servants, and laborers in 2026 on March 20 to assess the results of activities in the past time, and at the same time deploy trade union tasks in the coming time.
In addition, the unit implemented a summary report on 15 years of Resolution 6a/NQ-TLĐ of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on continuing to innovate content, methods, and improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities.
Along with that, the Provincial Labor Federation reported on the preliminary review of 5 years of implementing Directive 07-CT/TW of the Secretariat on strengthening leadership in HIV/AIDS prevention and control, towards ending the AIDS epidemic in Vietnam before 2030.
During the week, propaganda and mobilization to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions continued to be promoted. At the same time, steps to establish commune and ward trade unions were also implemented according to regulations.
