Amazon may be developing its own theoretical AI model

QUANG MINH (THEO techcrunch) |

Amazon is said to be developing its own theoretical artificial intelligence (AI) model.

Amazon is ambitious to join the race to develop AI models with advanced theoretical capabilities.

According to Business Insider, the tech giant is developing an AI model that integrates advanced theoretical capabilities, similar to OpenAI's o3-mini or AI DeepSeek's R1 (China). It is expected that this model can be launched as early as June.

Theoretical models are capable of systematically processing step-by-step queries, helping to improve accuracy in areas such as Mathematics and science.

The report said that Amazon's AI system will be able to provide quick answers and complex arguments in a single platform.

With the advantage of cloud infrastructure and a diverse ecosystem, Amazon has the potential to create an AI model that is both powerful and competitive.

However, whether it will be capable of challenging the big names in the market is still a big question mark.

Also related to this issue, on February 26, Amazon announced a new version of the Alexa voice assistant powered by Gen AI, bringing more human-like properties.

According to Amazon, with 600 million integrated Alexa devices available worldwide, the latest advances generated by AI have opened up new possibilities, allowing the company to pursue the goal of making users' lives better and easier every day. Therefore, Amazon introduced Alexa+, the company's next-generation assistant, powered by generative AI.
