The workshop is one of the activities of the Vietnam Energy Efficiency Community, under the National Program on Energy Saving and Efficiency Use for the period 2019–2030 (VNEEP3). The workshop is organized to update new policies and guidelines of the State; and share technology and financial solutions to support businesses in improving energy efficiency, reducing production costs, improving competitiveness and towards sustainable development.
The workshop was attended by representatives of state management agencies; industry associations; research institutes; experts in the field of energy saving and efficiency; industrial enterprises, industrial parks, production facilities; and representatives of organizations and businesses providing technology and financial solutions for the field of energy saving and efficiency.
This is a forum for stakeholders to strengthen exchanges, connections, update new technology trends, and promote cooperation between management agencies, units/organizations, businesses and solution providers, thereby creating an increasingly developed and sustainable energy-saving and efficient energy-using ecosystem.
In the past time, in order to minimize the impacts of market changes and geopolitical fluctuations, and at the same time promote the use of energy economically and efficiently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, together with ministries, sectors, and state management agencies, is implementing many programs and activities nationwide. Including the National Program on Energy Economical and Efficient Use for the period 2019-2030 (VNEEP3).
One of the important milestones of the VNEEP3 Program is the Ministry of Industry and Trade's construction and development of the Vietnam Energy Efficiency Community - an open connection platform for management agencies, consulting units, technology solutions providers, financial institutions and the business community, experts in the field of energy saving and efficiency.
Within the framework of the workshop, delegates were updated on mechanisms, policies, legal documents and new regulations on energy saving and efficiency use.
In addition, the conference introduced many technology solutions and practical application models to improve energy efficiency in enterprises. Thematic topics focused on solutions to build smart industrial parks, smart factories; application of science and technology to optimize energy use in the mining industry; Financial solutions to support businesses to invest in energy-saving and efficient energy-using projects, helping businesses access appropriate financial resources, to innovate technology, improve production efficiency and move towards sustainable development...
