In Ho Chi Minh City, VNPT Group has improved mobile broadcasting capacity at 18 locations to ensure service to customers' needs, and at the same time established a transmission line for VTV to broadcast live events within the framework of the event series celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
During these days, VNPT's technical team has urgently constructed fiber optic cables, installed and configurated equipment at television stations serving VTV's live TV programs and supported communication lines, installed the Internet and wifi at the Press Center at 14 Alexandre de Rhodes, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1 to help newspapers promptly post images of the National parade and parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day held on April 30 to people nationwide.
In the Southern region, Viettel has also launched an unprecedented campaign with more than 1,800 technical solutions, of which 945 solutions are exclusively for Ho Chi Minh City.
This is a workload 7 times higher than last year's holiday. A series of major events took place in a row such as a parade training program that lasted for many days; a 10,500 drone performance flying simultaneously at Thu Thiem tunnel, fireworks display at 28 locations in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces on the night of April 30... Each event attracted an average of 100,000-300,000 participants per day, increasing the pressure on telecommunications infrastructure.
To ensure the network operates continuously and effectively, Viettel has deployed mobile BTS stations at key locations such as the parade area, Thu Thiem tunnel and key routes. Advanced technology such as artificial intelligence (AI) and automatic monitoring systems are used to predict congestion early, automatically navigate and balance data loads in real time.
Meanwhile, MobiFone network has deployed anti-clogging for 33 areas in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the 30/4/5 holiday. In particular, mobile broadcasting is at 38 locations (including 2 mobile vehicles + 36 mobile modules) in important areas such as parades, parades, fireworks, festival areas...
At the same time, this network operator will broadcast 77 5G stations to bring a good experience to customers, ensuring no incidents.
Meanwhile, FPT has prepared plans and human resources to ensure services and network infrastructure throughout the April 30 holiday for customers.
Accordingly, the telecommunications unit has regularly reviewed and maintained equipment and transmission lines to be able to meet the maximum Internet needs of all customers.
At the same time, since the beginning of April 2025, FPT has upgraded bandwidth for all customers using Internet services, ensuring a minimum speed of 300Mbps, helping customers experience the Internet at a more optimal speed, especially during the holidays when the demand for Internet use often increases strongly.
