ChatGPT will remind users to rest after prolonged chat sessions

OpenAI has just announced that it will add a new feature to ChatGPT, reminding users to take a break when the conversation is prolonged.

This is part of the company's efforts to encourage users to build healthier relationships with AI assistants.

According to OpenAI, smooth reminders will appear as pop-ups in the chat window, requiring users to press to continue.

An example is the notification line: Just want to check a little, youve been chatting for a long time, maybe this is the time to rest?, This approach is reminiscent of the notification that appeared on the game console of Nintendo Wii and switch after a long playing time.

OpenAI wants ChatGPT to become a useful, friendly and easy-to-use tool. But if not controlled, it can easily turn chatbot into someone who can only follow the user. Previously, the company had to withdraw an update in April because the chatbot was too profitable, even "slandering" users to the point of causing discomfort.

The rest reminder feature not only helps reduce dependence on AI, but also creates the necessary space for users to re-check the accuracy of the information provided.

Integrating a holiday reminder feature not only reflects OpenAI's growing responsibility in ensuring the mental health of users, but is also a necessary step in the context of AI becoming more popular and present in all aspects of life.
