Claude - a chatbot developed by Anthropic has just been supplemented with the ability to create charts and illustrative diagrams to support information explanation. This feature can appear when users directly request it, or when Claude sees visual images, it will help clarify the content.
Anthropic said the new feature is not to create images in the usual sense. Instead, Claude will use HTML code and XML vector graphics to create illustrations. The company considers this as giving Claude a separate "whiteboard" to draw and explain.
The feature is now open to all Claude users, regardless of whether they are subscribed to Anthropic's paid package or not. However, the company notes that this is still a beta software, so some errors may still appear during use. In addition, this feature is currently not supported on mobile devices.
Anthropic's move was made just days after OpenAI announced the ability to create interactive illustrations in ChatGPT to explain scientific and mathematical concepts.
