The number of Claude's daily active users on mobile devices is increasing rapidly, and the number of new settings has also increased significantly recently.
According to application analysis company Appfigures, the number of Claude application downloads in the US is still exceeding ChatGPT. Data from March 2 shows that Claude reaches about 149,000 downloads per day, while ChatGPT reaches about 124,000 downloads, according to the company's estimate.
Meanwhile, market analysis company Similarweb said that the Claude application on iOS and Android reached 11.3 million daily active users on February 2. This number increased by 183% compared to the beginning of the year, when the number of users was only about 4 million and also increased sharply compared to 5 million daily users in early February.
This growth rate helped Claude surpass many other AI applications in terms of daily active users, such as Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. However, the application still could not surpass ChatGPT.
Currently, ChatGPT still has a large advantage in the market. On March 2, this application recorded about 250.5 million daily active users on iOS and Android.
In addition to mobile devices, Claude's web traffic is also growing. According to Similarweb, Claude's web traffic in February increased by 43% compared to the previous month and increased by 297.7% compared to the same period last year.
