The CoCreate Pitch e-commerce competition with a prize worth 1 million USD brings many opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The Alibaba.com e-commerce platform has just launched a global CoCreate Pitch competition, creating opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) around the world to introduce product ideas and compete for a prize worth 1 million USD.

For SME businesses and founders selected from Vietnam, they will win tickets to Las Vegas (USA) on September 4-5, 2025, where they will compete directly with other candidates around the world. At the same time, Alibaba.com also announced that the CoCreate Europe event will take place in London (UK) on November 14, 2025.

In addition to gathering industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs, CoCreate Pitch is also expected to become a stage to introduce the world's leading product ideas, from small and medium enterprises (SME) around the world.

Through the contest, it opens up opportunities to access solid financial support sources, diverse global supply chains and in-depth consulting programs.

All participating teams and contestants have free access to the AI- integrated product search tool system and the network of suppliers of the organizing committee, helping to speed up the process of model making and production to optimize costs.

Although the world is facing many economic uncertainties, SMEs are still continuously demonstrating their ability to adapt, recover and make strong breakthroughs. The latest data from Alibaba.com shows that SME is proactively opening up new opportunities.

During the peak season in mid-2025, the platform recorded strong growth momentum in Vietnam: the number of new exporters increased by 48% compared to the same period last year (from April to June), and the number of products listed by Vietnamese traders increased by 54%.

Previously, according to statistics from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, by the end of 2024, Vietnam will have over 940,000 operating enterprises, nearly 98% of which are small and medium enterprises. With a large quantity and importance to the economy, in recent times, many units have organized programs to help units make a breakthrough thanks to e-commerce.

On May 28, the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) accompanied a unit to organize the Conference "Outstanding Vietnam: Steadfastly promoting gold - Reaching the world".

Through the program, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam are advised on performance assurance packages - a specialized solution to help businesses transform globally effectively and flexibly.
