On February 7, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a conference to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
The Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee announced the decision to establish a Steering Committee to implement Resolution No. 57 consisting of 30 members. Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang is the Head of the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee will directly direct the contents related to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, including the Smart City Project, Decision No. 204-QD/TW of the Central Party Secretariat on the Digital Transformation Project in Party agencies, Decision No. 6 of the Prime Minister on approving the Project on Developing the application of population data, electronic identification and authentication, serving national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030...
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang said that in recent times, the city's science and technology, innovation and digital transformation activities have achieved outstanding results.
Currently, Da Nang city has a number of foundations ready for the breakthrough stage of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation development, such as the development platform for smart cities, a system of universities, research institutes, laboratories, high-quality human resources, a number of pioneering and breakthrough policies, infrastructure, ecosystem, friendly environment, etc.
"With the goal of making Da Nang a breakthrough and becoming a center for innovation and digital transformation, the Da Nang City Party Committee has proposed a draft action program to implement Resolution No. 57 with targets equal to and higher than the targets set out in Resolution 57," emphasized Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang.
