The Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City has just signed and issued a Plan to ensure information systems, platforms and technical infrastructure are shared in the process of implementing the Project to arrange and merge provincial-level administrative units.

The work aims to ensure connectivity, unity and consistency in state management and operation activities after the merger of provincial-level administrative units; ensure continuity and uninterrupted service; information systems and databases must maintain stable operations throughout the adjustment, updating or consolidation process, without interrupting the operation and exploitation process.
Accordingly, the contents of the administrative procedure settlement system, document management and operation system, integrated platform, shared data, centralized authentication platform, Can Tho City data portal, Can Tho City mobile application, electronic information portal, electronic letter system... must be completed before June 30.
Shared data warehouse, spatial planning platform, smart monitoring and control system, ... will be completed in the period of 2025 - 2026.

Regarding implementation, Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen assigned the Department of Science and Technology (KHCN) to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology of Hau Giang province and the Department of Science and Technology of Soc Trang province to review in detail the current status of information systems, shared platforms and technical infrastructure in the 3 provinces and cities implemented according to this Plan.
The Office of the People's Committee of Can Tho City presides over and coordinates with the Office of the People's Committees of Hau Giang and Soc Trang provinces and related units to merge systems including the City Electronic Information Portal, Reporting Information System, Public Service Center 1022...
The Chairman of Can Tho also requested the Heads of Departments, branches of the 3 relevant provinces and cities, and Chairmen of District People's Committees to focus on directing and organizing implementation to ensure compliance with regulations.
