On July 29, in Hanoi, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh - Head of the National Assembly's Steering Committee for Digital Transformation - chaired a meeting to review the National Assembly's digital transformation work in the first 6 months of 2025, and the direction and tasks for the last 6 months of the year.
At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested the National Assembly Office to coordinate with the National Assembly Party Committee Office and National Assembly agencies to advise and agree on assigning a single unit to preside over and coordinate the implementation of digital transformation tasks of the National Assembly Party Committee and National Assembly agencies, to ensure concentration, synchronization, avoid overlap or omission in the organization of implementation.
Regarding the direction and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh assigned the National Assembly Office to focus on implementing the tasks.
In which, the National Assembly's Digital Transformation Project for the period 2025-2030 will be issued in August 2025.
Speed up the construction of the National Assembly's Digital Data Center, including developing and promulgating the National Assembly's Digital Data Strategy and the National Assembly's archived data warehouse digitization plan.
Forming a National Assembly Digital Data Center ensures that National Assembly data is stored, calculated and exploited, creating a knowledge base for the National Assembly.
Along with that, continue to urge and promote the task of digitizing documents of the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committee and the National Assembly Party Committee. At the same time, research and propose to optimize professional processes at the agencies of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Office to ensure synchronous and effective implementation.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that the National Assembly Office continue to coordinate with Viettel Group and specialized units on network security, information safety and confidentiality of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to ensure network security, information safety and confidentiality for the National Assembly's information systems.
Promote the application of AI technology to support the activities of the National Assembly. Deploy tasks according to Plan No. 39-KH/DUQH of the National Assembly Party Committee to deploy the movement "Digital education - Digital National Assembly".
Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh also requested the National Assembly Office to study and deploy a number of information systems to serve elected representatives from the central to local levels.
Typically, the application software system providing information on smart mobile devices ( app of the National Assembly 2.0); software system serving the professional work of the Petition and Supervision Committee; software system serving the professional work of the Delegation Work Committee.
At the same time, work directly with each agency of the National Assembly to survey and receive opinions on each Information Technology Software System that is being deployed.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also suggested that the National Assembly Office continue to closely coordinate with Viettel Group to implement more effective coordination work, speeding up the development of professional support software for the National Assembly agencies.
