When downloading the file, users can now change their name, select an account (if logged in to multiple accounts) and select a saved file right from the original download screen. During the download process, a bang notification bar at the bottom edge will display the number of files being downloaded and the estimated completion time, while pushing the action buttons up. Users still receive notifications from the system as before.
When clicking the Upload arrow icon, the application will move to the Upload page, which displays all files that are waiting for processing or have been recently completed. This section can also be accessed from the sidebars.
At the same time, Google Drive on Android has also been updated with a new material 3 style video player, which appeared on the web last year. The interface includes large buttons for phat/temporary, returned/transition, the time bar below and the controls above such as sub beginning, phat nhanh (0.22x), repetition, and full-screen mode.
These improvements apply to all Google Workspace users, Workspace Individual subscribers, and personal Google accounts.
These changes not only make file management more intuitive but also bring a smooth video viewing experience, synchronized with Google's modern design trends. This is a valuable upgrade, especially in the context of users increasingly relying on mobile devices for work and entertainment.
