Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) sets out 6 major goals from policy consultation, popularizing digital assets... after a change in leadership position.

On January 3, Mr. Phan Duc Trung - Permanent Vice President of VBA was elected as Chairman of Vietnam Blockchain Association. Mr. Hoang Van Huay - former President will assume the role of Chairman of VBA Senior Advisory Council.

In his new role, the new Chairman of VBA, Phan Duc Trung, expressed his deep gratitude to Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Huay for his fundamental contributions and pledged to continue promoting the values ​​that VBA has built. Mr. Trung shared: "We are proud of the achievements in connecting the Blockchain community with State agencies and departments to build a legal framework for the Blockchain technology industry in Vietnam, as well as being the first legal bridge between the domestic and international communities".

Mr. Phan Duc Trung also affirmed that VBA will focus on promoting 6 strategic goals in the coming time including: Policy consultation, popularization of Blockchain - digital assets - artificial intelligence, member development, cooperation promotion, building standards and strengthening international cooperation to enhance the position of Vietnam's blockchain technology.

VBA was established in May 2022, becoming the first legal representative organization of Vietnam in the field of Blockchain, connecting tens of thousands of individuals and organizations domestically and internationally. In 2024, VBA organized and participated in 100 events, including 45 events promoting education, 40 events contributing policy opinions related to the legal framework, draft laws and international events.
