The focus of this update is still the new generation Siri, along with some improvements for Messages and device connection capabilities.
The most notable change is Write with Siri, replacing the Writing Tools tool previously on iPhone and iPad. When opening the keyboard, users will see the reminder "Write with Siri" appear above before typing content. If you start typing text, this interface will automatically shrink to a Siri icon. Apple also improves Siri's performance, helping to respond faster.
In the Messages application, Apple continues to expand support for the RCS messaging standard, helping the messaging experience between iPhone and Android phones become more and more complete.
On macOS 27 Golden Gate, Apple also fixes iPhone Mirroring errors (a feature that directly controls the iPhone from the Mac) that appeared in the first beta. In addition, AirPods Max 2 can now update firmware through the new operating system.
Apple is expected to continue to add more features and fix bugs in the next beta versions before iOS 27 and new operating systems are officially released this fall.
