Meta's latest product with Oakley's signature design combinations uses Meta's industry-leading technology. The product is IPX4 waterproof with double the battery life of Meta Ray-Ban and integrates an AI assistant.
Improved battery life means you can charge your glasses up to 50% in just 20 minutes and the glasses with a charging case can be charged continuously for up to 48 hours on the go.
Users can also record videos at Ultra HD (3K) resolution, compared to 720p videos that Meta Ray-Ban glasses can record.
Limited edition Oakley Meta HSTN, with yellow accents and yellow Oakley PRIZM glasses, 100% UV-resistant, will be available for pre-orders from July 11 for $499.
They will be sold in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. And the company is also working to bring them to Mexico, India and the United Arab Emirates by the end of this year.
The rest of the collection is expected to launch later this summer, with a starting price of 399 USD. You can use glasses to listen to music or podcast, take photos, chat with Meta AI or make/receive calls. Users can also exchange the glasses for the glasses for the medicine at an additional cost.
