Support for displaying additional screens
Previously, MacBook Air M1 and M2 only supported the appearance of an external screen, limiting it for users who wanted to work at multiple jobs. In the M3 version, Apple has improved by allowing two external screens to connect, but only when folding the device.

This device supports up to two 6K external screens, in addition to the integrated Liquid Retina screen".
MagSafe charger and new colors
MacBook Air M4 launches additional blue version (Sky Blue), replacing space gray ( Space Gray) in the product portfolio. When purchasing this version, users will receive a USB-C to MagSafe charging cable.
In addition, Apple also launched a separate USB-C to MagSafe cable sale for $49, allowing users to easily buy more or replace them.

With the macOS Sequoia 15.4 update, Apple introduces a feature that makes setting up a new MacBook Air easier by placing it close to your iPhone or iPad.
When enabled, users can quickly log into their Apple account, synchronize data, photos, messages, passwords, and more in just a few steps.
Wi-Fi 6E
Similar to the MacBook Air M3, the new M4 model supports Wi-Fi 6E connection, but is not yet equipped with the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard. Thus, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are still the only Apple products currently available with Wi-Fi 7.
