On May 19, on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the People's Committee of An Giang province held a launching ceremony for the "digital learning environment" movement and launched the " Lifelong learning" support application on the SmartAnGiang platform".
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Ho Van Mung - Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee - directed all levels and sectors to implement quickly, widely, comprehensively, systematically, coordinatively, scientifically, flexibly, creatively and closely following the actual situation of the locality, agency, and unit to soon complete the "digital civil affairs" movement. In particular, the focus is on being deployed to residential groups, hamlets, and villages, creating a campaign for the entire population to compete in learning, practicing digital skills, and actively participating in the digital transformation process...
According to Mr. Mung, the application of digital technology, artificial intelligence and online learning platforms is a key factor, ensuring a flexible approach, suitable for all subjects, especially vulnerable groups, people in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, etc.
To achieve the above goal, it is necessary to implement many solutions synchronously. In addition to widespread communication and propaganda solutions, it is necessary to promote the universalization of digital transformation and digital skills for each group of objects. At the same time, implementing models and movements to spread digital skills for the community, such as "Family Digital", "Market - Rural Digital", "Each citizen - a digital identity" and "Community technology group", youth campaign to join hands to universal digital skills.
In particular, it is necessary to closely link the "Digital education movement" with the Project "Enhancing awareness, popularizing skills and developing human resources for national digital transformation by 2025, with a vision to 2030" and the emulation movement "The whole country competes to build a learning society, promote lifelong learning in the period of 2023-2030".
On this occasion, cooperation between the People's Committee of An Giang province and the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), the Department of Science and Technology of An Giang, together with the Department of Education and Training and VNPT of An Giang, will also be implemented to build a "Lifetime Learning" application, serving the "Digital education movement", contributing to popularizing knowledge and digital skills for all people. In particular, the Lifetime Learning interface was developed specifically for mobile devices integrated directly into the An Giang Digital Citizen application (SmartAnGiang), bringing a convenient and easy learning experience to people of all subjects, ages, anytime, anywhere.
