The Huawei ICT Competition 2024 - 2025 recorded a record scale, attracting more than 210,000 students and lecturers from more than 2,000 colleges and universities in more than 100 countries and territories. At the global final, 179 teams from 48 countries and territories participated.
The focus of Huawei ICT Competition 2024 - 2025 is the 8-hour Interesting Practice competition at Huawei headquarters in Shenzhen, China.
Students participated in 3 events Cloud track, Computing track and Network track to demonstrate in-depth knowledge, excellent practice skills and teamwork for the general exam.
In particular, Cloud track and Computing track require candidates to use Huawei Cloud to conduct the experiment; Network track requires candidates to be proficient in eNSP simulation software to conduct simulation of a business's network architecture.

Participating in the global finals, the Vietnam team, consisting of 9 excellent students, participated in 3 competitions, showed talent and courage, and won resoundingly in all 3 competitions.
Awarded first prize in Cloud track: The winning group of students included Bui Quoc An - Academy of cryptography Engineering; Dau Van Khoa - Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, Tran Hai Dang - University of Science and Technology, VNU-HCM.
Second prize in the Computing track event: The winning group of students included Mai Thi Phuong and Nguyen Tu Kien - Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology; Duong Van Hiep - FPT University Hanoi.
Awarded in three Network track events: The winning group of students included Le Nhu Quynh and Dinh Hoang Anh - Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology; Nguyen Le Hong Khanh - Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
With this achievement, the Vietnam team broke the record after 3 years of participating in the competition, affirming the ability of Vietnamese students in the world knowledge arena.
Previously, the Vietnam team won third prize in the Network track event at the Huawei ICT Competition 2023 - 2024 global final, as well as third prize in the Cloud track event at the Huawei ICT Competition 2022 - 2023 global final.

Sharing after receiving the award, Nguyen Le Hong Khanh, a student at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, said: Huawei ICT Competition is a turning point in my journey of learning and self-development.
The contest not only helps me re-system professional knowledge, but also opens up a new world where I can try my hand in a global environment, learn to think like a real engineer and practice teamwork skills, fast reflexes, and situation handling".
Launched in 2015, Huawei ICT Competition marks the 10-year journey of Huawei bringing annual ICT playgrounds to students majoring in information technology training around the world.
With the theme "Connection, Glory, Future", the contest aims to create an international competition and exchange platform, improving students' knowledge and practical skills.
Since its first held in 2015, Huawei ICT Competition has attracted nearly 1 million students from more than 2,000 colleges and universities in 100 countries and territories.
