Will Microsoft's AI Assistant Threaten Apple's Position

Microsoft officially announced Windows Intelligence, promising to bring an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant-like experience to Apple devices.

Windows Intelligence will help Microsoft compete strongly with Apple's AI assistants. According to information from Microsoft, this new assistant is deeply integrated into Windows, helping users interact and complete tasks more quickly and effectively.

One of the standout features of Windows Intelligence is its personalization capabilities. The assistant learns each user’s habits and needs to make appropriate suggestions, thereby enhancing the personal experience.

In particular, Windows Intelligence has the ability to connect with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Teams, facilitating office and business users.

In addition to personalization features, Windows Intelligence also integrates Bing search and ChatGPT. This allows users to get quick and accurate answers from the assistant, saving time when looking for information or performing complex tasks.

Microsoft claims the assistant will work seamlessly with other apps in its ecosystem, creating a unified experience.

The assistant also supports voice control, helping users operate faster and more conveniently, especially in situations where a keyboard cannot be used. Microsoft is focusing on developing voice recognition and context understanding capabilities to ensure high accuracy.

Windows Intelligence is expected to launch in early 2025 and will be part of the latest Windows updates. Microsoft has received positive feedback from internal testing, and the company hopes the assistant will be a game-changer that will help Windows compete on par with Apple and Google platforms.
