The Korean Cultural Center said that, on 26-27.5, at the invitation of the Government of Vietnam, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea, the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, the Korean Game Cultural Fund and the Korean Game Management Committee attended the exchange meeting between the two countries' management agencies and the Vietnam Gymnaseme 2025 organized in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the meeting, the two sides shared policies and achievements in developing the Vietnam - Korea game industry, and discussed future cooperation orientations between the two countries such as promoting human resource training exchange programs in the game industry, increasing participation in large-scale game events such as Korea's G-Star and Vietnam's Gameverse, as well as seminars and discussions between government agencies of the two countries.
Mr. Choi Jae Hwan, Director of the Game Industry Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea, expressed his hope to cooperate with Vietnam to develop the gaming industry through many activities. Including sharing experiences and knowledge of policies of the game industry of the two countries; cooperation in game development and production between Vietnamese and Korean game enterprises, sharing solutions to deal with social problems arising in addition to the rapid development of the Vietnamese game industry...
Mr. Choi Jae Hwan agreed with the proposal from the Vietnamese Government agency on establishing an exchange channel to promote substantive cooperation in the future.

Also at the meeting, Mr. Yu Byong Han, Director of Korean Game Cultural Fund, said that behind the outstanding development of the Korean gaming industry is a healthy gaming culture, proving the usefulness of the gaming industry and the positive reception of Korean society in the gaming industry; At the same time, emphasizing the importance of establishing an educational organization and developing game culture through cooperation between government and gaming businesses.
At the end of the meeting, the Korean Game Cultural Fund, the Korean Game Management Committee and the Department of Television and Electronic Radio and Information Department signed the Memorandum of Working and Exchanging Bilateral Cooperation in the Game industry between the two countries. It is expected that this document will be upgraded to a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) after the Vietnam GymeS festival ends.
Vietnam Game Verse is the largest game festival in Vietnam and many small and medium-sized Korean game enterprises have participated in this event.
This is the third consecutive year that Vietnam Gameverse has been held, the scale of Gameverse 2025 has been expanded to double the second season and 5 times the first season.
