On the afternoon of June 10, the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City organized a scientific conference "Model of Can Tho City Innovation Center - Promoting linkage to develop the innovation ecosystem".
The workshop aims to consult opinions from experts, scientists, managers, and businesses to exchange and improve the model of the Can Tho City Innovation Center, creating a foundation to promote innovation and creative startup activities of Can Tho City in the coming period.
Along with that, there was an exchange of contents on the establishment of the Advisory Council for the innovation and creative startup ecosystem of Can Tho City; Criteria for recognizing the Center for Innovation and the Center for Supporting Creative Startups of Can Tho City; Discussion and announcement of cooperation in developing the Center for Innovation model in Can Tho City.
The conference results are an important basis for the City to continue to improve the Innovation Center model according to 4 strategic pillars. These are the model according to the coordinating pillar, the model according to the investment/PPP pillar, the model according to the Deep-Tech pillar and the model according to the commercialization pillar.
This helps promote the mobilization of social resources to form a system of innovation centers according to priority industries and fields of Can Tho City.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee, informed that the city continues to connect innovative resources, promote the connection between the State - Scientists - Businesses, contributing to improving productivity, quality, competitiveness of businesses and socio-economic development.
