RHVAC (Heat - Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) Techshow with the theme "Sustainable refrigeration and green transformation trend" took place on the afternoon of November 21 at the International Exhibition on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Cleanroom and High-tech Factory Auxiliaries CLEANFACT & RHVAC Vietnam 2024.
The program was organized by the Vietnam Association of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineering (VISRAE), with the participation of representatives from the Department of Climate Change - Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, along with the support and sharing of major brands in this field.
One of the outstanding activities was the in-depth discussion on “Implementation of Decision 496/QD-TTg on the National Plan for Management and Elimination of Substances That Deplete the Ozone Layer and Cause the Greenhouse Effect - Current Status, Challenges and Solution Orientations”.
The seminar provided practical information, helping businesses understand current policies, challenges in complying with environmental standards, as well as orienting feasible solutions in the context of green transformation.
Mr. Ta Quang Ngoc, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technology (VISRAE), said: This is also an opportunity for businesses to listen to experts and representatives of state agencies on strategies and roadmaps for sustainable development in the refrigeration and air-conditioning sector. The content not only helps raise awareness but also encourages businesses to innovate, apply sustainable cooling technologies, save energy and minimize environmental impacts.
"We can learn a lot from a series of typical domestic and foreign brands, especially from countries such as Korea, Japan, Europe, and China. This is not only an opportunity for businesses and experts to explore new technology solutions and update the most advanced trends, but also an opportunity to build strategic partnerships in the industry.
The Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Clean Room sector is playing an increasingly important role in economic activities, protecting human health and promoting sustainable development. The event not only honors breakthrough innovations in technology, but also contributes to shaping Vietnam's position in the global supply chain of this sector," said Mr. Ngoc.
Experts agree that the future of the RHVAC industry is not only tied to improving operational efficiency but also focusing on environmental responsibility.
Breakthrough technologies and solutions such as integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the HVAC system - a system that controls temperature, humidity and air quality for a space and environment - by LG not only optimizes operations but also significantly reduces energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
In addition, Shuangliang with waste heat utilization systems, energy recycling and absorption refrigeration applications, significantly reduces environmental impact while maintaining high operating efficiency.
At the same time, Danfoss sets a new standard in carbon emission reduction by promoting the use of low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants and developing intelligent refrigeration systems.
Panasonic has made a strong impression with its HVAC solution using a refrigerant with GWP = 0, especially suitable for large manufacturing plants - an important step towards completely eliminating carbon emissions in the industrial sector.
