Reasons why breakfast should not have cake

Eating pastries for breakfast can cause many harmful effects on the body, especially on the digestive system, weight and cardiovascular health.

Breakfast is an important habit for health, because it is the meal that provides energy for the body after a long night. However, not all breakfast foods are good for health. Pastries are a typical example.

First of all, pastries are often high in sugar and refined carbohydrates, which provide a quick but unsustainable source of energy. According to a study by the World Health Organization, consuming too much sugar, especially at breakfast, can increase the risk of diseases such as type 2 diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease.

When you eat a pastry in the morning, your blood sugar levels will rise quickly, but then drop sharply, leading to a feeling of fatigue and lack of energy after a short time. This also explains why many people feel hungry and need to snack right after breakfast.

In addition, cakes often lack fiber and protein - two important ingredients that help the body maintain energy and feel full longer. Meanwhile, breakfast with enough fiber and protein will help improve metabolism, reducing the risk of being overweight. Lack of these nutrients can make the body easily crave and be tempted by unhealthy foods at later meals.

Another reason why pastries are not an ideal breakfast choice is their negative impact on heart health. Studies have shown that consuming foods high in saturated fat and trans fat, such as pastries, can increase the level of bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood, thereby increasing the risk of heart disease. To maintain good heart health, limit processed foods that are high in sugar and unhealthy fats.

Many people, due to the nature of their work or lack of time, have the habit of eating cakes for breakfast to make it quick. However, cakes not only do not provide enough nutrients for the body, but can also cause long-term harm to health.

Instead, a full breakfast with foods rich in fiber, protein and vitamins is a better choice for overall health, helping to maintain stable energy throughout the day and prevent dangerous diseases.
