Towards the roots in the southernmost part of the Fatherland
The 2026 Gratitude Ceremony to Duc Quoc To Lac Long Quan is held from April 20 to 22 (from the 4th to the 6th day of the 3rd lunar month) at Lac Long Quan Temple, belonging to Mui Ca Mau Tourist Area, Dat Mui commune. This is a spiritual cultural activity of special significance, taking place in the southernmost land of the Fatherland.
The space for organizing the ceremony was renovated to be spacious, clean and beautiful, ensuring security and safety to welcome people and tourists to attend. From early morning on the main day of the ceremony, a large number of delegates, officials, soldiers and local people were present to participate in ancestor worship rituals.

The ceremony part is solemnly organized according to traditional rituals including procession, incense offering, and reading wishes to commemorate the merits of Duc Quoc To. The teams participating in the ceremony are selected and trained methodically, expressing the deep respect of today's generation for the national origin.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee - emphasized the significance of the event in educating patriotism, preserving the morality of "drinking water, remembering the source", contributing to consolidating the great national unity bloc.

According to leaders of Ca Mau province, the festival is not only an occasion to show gratitude to ancestors but also contributes to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, creating motivation for sustainable tourism development for the locality.
Before the official ceremony, on the afternoon of April 21, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang, along with representatives of departments, branches, local authorities and people, organized an incense offering ceremony and offered a tray of rice to worship Duc Quoc To at the temple.
This is also the first year that the Organizing Committee has implemented the form of contributing offerings for death anniversaries, creating an open space for the people of Dat Mui to directly express their sincerity and look towards their roots.
Linking cultural preservation with tourism development
Besides the solemn ceremony part, the festival part takes place sôi nổi with many cultural and artistic activities and unique folk experiences imbued with the identity of the Southern land.
People and tourists enjoyed folk art performances, mass arts and many traditional games. Folk cake making contests also attracted a large number of people to participate, creating a joyful atmosphere and connecting the community.

At Mui Ca Mau National Park, many experiential activities are organized such as sea crab emulation, three-striped crab catching and tying contest, planting trees to create forests, walking through forests. Thereby introducing the ecological characteristics and life of residents in the Ca Mau river region to tourists.
According to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, through the "Ca Mau - Destination 2026" Program and the 2026 Heritage Culture - Tourism Week, the locality expects to create a strong connection between heritage preservation and socio-economic development.
The organization of the Gratitude Ceremony to Duc Quoc To Lac Long Quan also contributes to diversifying tourism products, strengthening tourism - service development links, creating conditions for businesses to promote products and expand business operations.
From a festival with spiritual meaning, Ca Mau is gradually turning traditional values into a new development resource, bringing the Dat Mui tourism brand further and further.
