Millet malt palm sugar
Ingredient:
125 grams millet flour
500ml water
125 grams of palm sugar, grated or cut into small pieces
65ml milk
A little cinnamon powder, cardamom or other spices to taste
First, mix millet flour with a cup of water, whisk until smooth.
Boil 375ml water in a pot then add palm sugar.
Stir until palm sugar dissolves.
Now add the millet flour mixture to the boiling palm sugar water, taking care to keep stirring constantly so that the mixture does not clump.
Stir well and cook for 2 minutes until millet flour is thick and smooth.
Turn off the heat and add the milk.
Now, you can add cinnamon powder or cardamom powder to enhance the flavor of the dish.
Granola bars with seeds and palm sugar
Ingredient:
500 grams rolled oats
65 grams of mixed nuts
65 grams of melon seeds
35ml vegetable oil
2.5 grams of salt
65 grams raisins
65 grams of grated palm sugar
30ml honey
Making:
First, preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
Mix all ingredients, except raisins, in a bowl. Once mixed, spread mixture onto baking sheet.
Bake this mixture for 15 minutes, stir well and then return to the oven for another 15 minutes or until the mixture is golden and crispy.
Now add the raisins and let cool completely.
Store in a sealed container.
Palm Sugar Wheat Pancakes
Ingredient:
125 grams whole wheat flour
65 grams of grated palm sugar
65ml milk
5 grams baking powder
1.5 grams baking soda
A pinch of salt
15ml oil or ghee
Making:
First, mix whole wheat flour, palm sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
Gradually pour milk and oil into dry ingredients, mixing well until smooth.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Grease the pan with oil or ghee. Pour a ladleful of batter into the pan and cook until bubbling on the surface, flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
Serve hot with your favorite toppings such as honey, maple syrup or fruit.
