On July 2, Ba Diem Commune Police, Ho Chi Minh City, said that the unit had received a report from Mr. Pham Qui Tuan (born in 1991, residing in Tien Lan 5 Hamlet, Ba Diem Commune, Ho Chi Minh City). According to Mr. Tuan's report, while on his way to the market in the morning to get goods to sell, he discovered a newborn baby girl lying crying on the bank of the canal in Hamlet 22, Ba Diem commune.
The girl was still whole and had no relatives and her background was unknown. Mr. Tuan took the baby home and immediately reported the incident to the commune police.
Immediately after receiving the report, Ba Diem Commune Police quickly arrived at the scene to handle the incident.
Currently, the commune police have coordinated with local people to take the girl to Hoc Mon Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment and are preparing an initial file to continue verification.
