According to the sharing of former volleyball player Pham Thi Yen, after getting married, her life changed a lot.
Instead of making decisions on her own, Pham Thi Yen will discuss and carefully discuss plans with her husband before making appropriate plans. She also has to rearrange her time to balance work and family.
Former volleyball player Pham Thi Yen and her husband Dang Duc Chung got married in mid-June 2025 after a long period of dating. The couple's marriage is supported by both families. Therefore, when becoming a daughter-in-law of her husband's family, the female Lieutenant Colonel is loved by everyone, life is comfortable and there is no pressure.
My husband and I often advise and share with each other. For things I don't know, I ask my parents directly to be clearer. My parents-in-law love me very much, so we almost have no distance, and there is no'mother-in-law - daughter-in-law' situation.
My mother-in-law also often calls me to ask about and share many things. Even, sometimes when sulking at my husband, I even call to'tell me how to love' my mother," Pham Thi Yen shared.
Not only is she loved by her parents-in-law, Pham Thi Yen also has the companionship and understanding of her husband Dang Duc Chung. Despite being busy with the specific nature of his work, Mr. Chung still takes time to inquire, take advantage of going home to eat and pick up his wife from work.
Pham Thi Yen praised her husband as a responsible person, always caring and respecting his wife.
“For me, trust, sharing and mutual respect are the most important things in marriage. Husband and wife need to create a sense of emotional security for each other. Dialogue may not help fully understand each other immediately, but it will help grasp each other's thoughts, thereby empathizing and uniting with each other in both work and life.
No matter how strong or successful a woman is, she always hopes her husband is her support. There are times when women need to be weak, unable to decide everything themselves. I am learning to share more, so that my husband can show responsibility and the role of pillar in the family," Pham Thi Yen affirmed.
