As Tet Nguyen Dan approaches, people's shopping demand increases. Besides buying and selling at traditional markets, many people choose to shop online on e-commerce platforms because there are many promotions from 50 - 70%. These discount programs not only help save spending for families but also solve the time problem in the busy days leading up to Tet.
Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Lieu (Me Tri ward, Hanoi) said that due to the busy workload at the end of the year, she has switched to online shopping, accounting for 80% of personal needs. On average, in this peak month, she orders about 30 - 50 orders. According to her assessment, proactively ordering early 2-3 weeks before Tet is a necessary solution to avoid system overload or order delays.
Regarding the quality of goods, Ms. Lieu said that the fact that exchanges promote genuine booths and a system of evaluation from buyers has helped product screening become better.

As online shopping demand increases sharply, the team of transportation and shippers also enters a peak period. According to reporters' records, in the months leading up to Tet, the majority of orders from shippers increase, leading to increased income.
Mr. Le Van Tuyen - a delivery staff in Hanoi - said that during the peak period of Tet 2026, the number of orders doubled compared to normal days. To complete the target of 100-200 orders/day, he has to work continuously for 12-13 hours. High labor intensity means that shippers almost have no lunch break time. In return, his income in Tet month can reach 19-20 million VND, an increase of 4-5 million VND compared to previous months.

Also working as a shipper, Mr. Bui Hong Nhat said that in the period leading up to Tet, the number of his orders also increased, leading to an increase in income in the last months of the year. Despite the stressful workload, Mr. Nhat still expects the number of orders to increase sharply in the days leading up to Tet so that his family can have a full Tet.
Currently, ordering and delivery on e-commerce platforms are quite convenient, delivery time is fast, and the exchange and return policy is increasingly flexible, helping consumers feel secure when shopping during Tet. However, when the number of orders continues to increase in the days leading up to Tet, the risk of delivery delays and delays can still occur, requiring buyers to actively order early to avoid affecting Tet shopping plans.
