At the 33rd SEA Games, Vo Thi My Tien won 2 silver medals in the women's 200m frog event, women's individual 400m event and 2 bronze medals in the women's 200m event and women's 4x200m event. This is considered a stable achievement for the swimmer born in 2005.
Vo Thi My Tien was born into a purely farming family in the old Long An province (now Tay Ninh province). When she was 10 years old, she was discovered by teachers at the Provincial Sports and Physical Training School to have a swimming talent.

After only 2 years of professional training, My Tien registered her name on the green race in the country and the region. At the age of 13, she won 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals at the Southeast Asian Youth Swimming Championship.
In 2019, when she was not yet 14 years old, My Tien participated in the 30th SEA Games. After a year, at the Southeast Asian Games at home, My Tien won 2 silver medals, 1 bronze medal and broke 2 records for swimmer Anh Vien.

In the international arena, My Tien often represents Vietnam in major tournaments. She was once invited to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics in the 200m individual medley event. Although she could not qualify, this was an important milestone in My Tien's career.
In recent years, Vo Thi My Tien has become a prominent name in the national championship. In 2025, the 20-year-old female swimmer was the winner of the most gold medals at the tournament, breaking the record in the individual 100m mixed, 100m frog and 200m frog events.
On her journey, My Tien has the companionship and support of swimmer Pham Thanh Bao. The two are known as the " bickers" of Vietnamese swimming, playing together for many years at the Can Tho National Sports Training Center.

From a colleague relationship, they fell in love and started dating. Since the end of 2022, My Tien has started posting moments taken with Thanh Bao on her personal page. Similarly, the "frog prince" of Vietnamese swimming also often shares everyday moments, celebrating medals with My Tien.
The couple did not hesitate to express their feelings for each other on social networks. But it was not until the 2025 Asian Utical Championship held in India that many people learned about the relationship between the two swimming pool players.

On the evening of December 14, after finishing the 200m frog swimming event, swimmer Pham Thanh Bao had a notable celebration. He placed two fingers in an T-shaped shape (Tien's name). The above action is a word of encouragement to her girlfriend, telling her to try hard because there is still a long way to go.
