After four successful seasons, the VinFuture Prize has entered its 5th year from December 1-12, with the week theme "Stick Up Together - Prosperate Together". Vietnam continues to be a gathering place for outstanding minds in the field of science and technology.
This year is also the 5th consecutive season that runner-up and editor Thuy Van was "chosen" by the Organizing Committee to lead the program.
Few people know that every VinFuture season, Thuy Van puts themselves in the mindset of a "new person". She reads all the documents from the beginning, researched scientific terms and built the script with the highest care.
Sharing about the reason for being trusted for 5 years, Thuy Van thinks that it is thanks to her seriousness and openness: "I always start from zero so as not to be subjective. When faced with the world's leading scientists, accuracy is paramount."
According to her, this is an international standard program, requiring the host to be solid, flexible and have the ability to connect the emotions of the audience.
In addition to her time on stage, Thuy Van spent many working hours behind to read documents, discuss with the organizers, and work directly with experts to ensure that the language, terminology and spirit of the program were fully expressed.
According to Thuy Van, the words she uses on stage are not only beautiful but must be true. The way she communicates with the audience should be fluent and solemn, reflecting the image of the world-class award host country.
After nearly a year of temporarily leaving the stage to welcome her second daughter, Runner-up Thuy Van returned to the admiration of the audience and colleagues. Although she has just given birth for more than two months, she still maintains her radiant beauty, neat figure and positive energy.
Thuy Van shared that it is the result of a process of patience and understanding her body. During that time, Thuy Van always maintained a relaxed spirit and eaten scientifically, prioritizing fresh, low-fat foods. She also often does light exercise such as walking, stretching, and recovery exercises when her body allows.
