As an actress, criticism and criticism are inevitable. But Duong Tu's approach has changed as she gradually matures.
The actress shared: "Before, maybe I would be a little heartbroken, because after all I was still young then. Now it seems I am no longer affected by these things.
I accept all criticism. What I care about is the actual assessments of everyone when a movie airs.
For example, if that movie really makes me feel that my acting direction is problematic. Disappointment is certain, and I will also develop doubts about myself. However, when I calm down and think more carefully, this is actually a good thing. I realize that I have made more progress in that very process. The movie after performing better is enough.
A reporter from Glass magazine said that many viewers feel that Duong Tu's acting is "vivid, realistic and believable", as if the character actually exists in real life. Director Hau Hong Luong also once said that Duong Tu can play the most difficult characters to the point of making people feel sorry.
Regarding this, Duong Tu admits that she is a person with "very full of emotions". She recounted: "I grew up in the love of my family, so I am not afraid of expressing emotions. Whether with friends, family or staff around me, I always think: love means saying it out loud. As an actress, I am also very sensitive".
Family background has affected her personality and acting path. Duong Tu likes characters with strong emotional intensity and clear action motives. The character's intense emotional experiences help her quickly get into the role.
For Duong Tu, she has never associated acting with technical elements, but always wants to "go deep into the heart" to express the most authentic emotions.

Also in the interview, the actress shared about the difficulties when participating in the movie "The Tree of Life" which is about to air.
The story takes place in Ma Tri district on the Thanh Hai plateau - where illegal logging and forest exploitation has become a daily occurrence. The character Bach Cuc played by Duong Tu is an orphan adopted by a doctor.
When she grew up, Bach Cuc became a young female police officer in the mountain patrol team, facing fierce thieves every day, and also having to investigate the truth behind the disappearance of the former deputy district chief.
The actors had to film at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters, filming outdoors for 188 days in the wild plateau area. In those harsh circumstances, Duong Tu experienced "plateau reaction", lack of oxygen, insomnia, and prolonged fatigue.
Until the day of filming, I still had high-altitude reactions. Although not as severe as at first, but when I had to act in scenes of crying, breathing downhill or exercising vigorously, I still felt uncomfortable," the actress confided. But she affirmed that she had never regretted receiving this script.
