On February 20, Billboard music magazine Korea announced that female singer Jisoo of Blackpink is the latest cover face of the art book "Billboard Artist".
Before Jisoo, the 5-member Kpop girl group NewJeans (now renamed NJZ) was the first cover star of this magazine.
Lisa and Jennie from Blackpink were also chosen as cover faces for the global Billboard issue.
Billboard Korea has released 4 cover versions of Jisoo on its social media account. In particular, a cover page shocked fans, when Jisoo wore a black dress with a bold cut design by the Oude Waag brand.
Many viewers commented that this was the magazine cover that Jisoo wore the most "open" ever. The whole Blackpink girl group often pursues an elegant, gentle style, rarely wearing too sexy outfits.
According to the introduction, through the edited photo collection and interviews with Billboard, Jisoo will show the audience the development of a solo artist and her dynamic presence in the fields of creativity and art.

In addition, also on February 20, online platform Netflix announced that Jisoo and actor Seo In Guk will take on the lead roles in the new drama Boyfriend on Demand (working title).
Boyfriend on Demand is a romantic comedy set in a virtual world where people can register to date a boyfriend/girlfriend, and relationships in the virtual world will continue in real life.
The film is directed by director Kim Jung Sik of Work Later, Drink Now, Strong Girl Namsoon and No Gain No Love.
Jisoo plays Seo Mi Rae, a webtoon ( net comic) producer focused on her career and has become accustomed to life without love. She unexpectedly received a "monthly boyfriend" device, allowing her to step into the virtual world, dating unimaginably perfect men.
