On June 9, a press conference for the Netflix series Squid Game 3 was held in Yongsan, Seoul (Korea).
The event was attended by director Hwang Dong Hyuk and cast members Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Im Siwan, Kang Ha Neul, Wi Ha Joon...
At the event, Lee Jung Jae shared his deep feelings about the development of the character Gi Hun that he played in part 3.
The actor said, "After facing guilt for his friend's death and being unable to save others in the game, Gi Hun changed in part 3.
He became more determined and cautious in his actions in the arena, as he wondered what else he could do.
Lee Byung Hun added: "Gi Hun lost his best friend, who was killed by Front Man (played by Lee Byung Hun), and sank into a state of shock and deep helplessness. But in the end, he regained his faith, and with his faith in humanity, he made a plan to overthrow the entire system.
Front Man saw this change and also started developing their own plan.
If the second and third parts are considered a continuous story, the third part will bring the final chapter. It will be emotional and dramatic, especially when it goes deep into the comprehensive confrontation between Gi Hun and Front Man.

scheduled to premiere on June 27, Squid Game 3 follows player number 456 Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae) returning to the deadly game with a new purpose, after losing his best friend.
The film also explores the fate of the survivors and the deeper secrets of the masked Front Man (Lee Byung Hun), as they all aim for a final battle, with a high bet.
