At noon on July 11 (Vietnam time), Kpop girl group Blackpink officially returned after nearly 3 years, with a new MV "Jump".
Jump is a song in the EDM genre - Electronic Dance, with a vibrant, energetic melody. This song is a collaboration between Teddy and 24, the producers who created many of Blackpink's hit songs, as well as leading musicians and composers abroad.
The lyrics of the song "Jump" do not have specific content but are like a cheer song, encouraging everyone to dance and enjoy fun.
In particular, the MV Jump was made with a unique style, many audiences rated it as Blackpinks most unique MV right after its release.
The MV Jump opens with the view of a flying camera in the city, reminiscent of superstar Marvel films.
After that, 4 Blackpink members (Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, Rose) stood performing in front of a giant wall-painted poster in a high-rise building. Below were many fans cheering when seeing Blackpink and continuously dancing and nodding crazy to the melodies.
The MV Jump surprised the audience when it used many special effects, creating strange, crazy frames, such as the scene where the members appear in the mouth, ears and brains of the audience, or the scene where Blackpink flew in the air like superheroes, and performed on a stage like a flying disc...

Previously, Blackpink was famous for its box-on MVs, filmed mainly in the studio. But this time, the MV Jump was filmed entirely outdoors, using many actors and dancers and special effects that appeared throughout the MV.
The MV's creator with this bold, fun and quirky style is director Dave Meyers, who won the Grammy Award for Best Music Video.
Dave Meyers was also the director for Lisa's MV "New Woman". The director's signature filming technique, combining reality and fiction, was clearly demonstrated in Blackpink's MV "Jump".
Blackpink's initial digital music achievements are also quite positive. The song Jump debuted at No. 20 on the Melon Top 100 - Koreas top music chart, while reaching No. 4 on Bugs and No. 23 on Genie.
