Chan Chi Cuong was born in 1966, was a top star of Asia Television (ATV) - the first TV station in Hong Kong (China), a former competitor to TVB for product quality and viewership ratings, but has now closed.
Chan Chi Cuong started out as a Taekwondo athlete before entering the artistic path. Initially, he signed a contract as a martial arts director with TVB.
After that, Chan Chi Cuong joined the entertainment industry as a model. He won an award at the Hong Kong (China) supermodel contest in 1989, then received many advertising contracts on television.
In 1993, when ATV filmed the film "The Mysterious Case in Hong Kong", Chan Chi Cuong was introduced to the producer and signed a contract with the station, officially becoming an actor.
