The content of the dispatch clearly stated: In recent days, in many localities, there has been particularly heavy and prolonged rain, floods rising rapidly, exceeding historical levels, on a large scale, causing deep flooding, traffic disruption, and heavy damage to people and property.
In the Central provinces from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai, many places are currently experiencing extremely complicated floods and landslides, threatening the security, safety, life and property of the State and the People.
Promoting the spirit of "forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", "When the people need it, when the people are in need, there is a police", the People's Public Security force has absorbed and effectively implemented the policies of the Party and State, the direction of General Secretary To Lam, has been exemplary, pioneering, focusing all its efforts, deploying forces highly with functional forces on the front line to help people respond to and overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods.
In helping the people, there are comrades who have sacrificed, some are injured, many officers and soldiers of the police force, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level forget the happiness of their own individuals and families...

In the coming days, forecasting that the natural disaster and flood situation will continue to be complicated, the General General requested the Heads of Public Security of units and localities, especially the provinces from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai, to focus on directing drastic tasks of natural disaster prevention and control.
In the immediate future, focus on the urgent task of "Saving people, protecting people's lives is paramount, first of all", review, warn and immediately evacuate households in areas at risk of flash floods and landslides;
Absolutely do not let any people go hungry, isolate without timely support, proactively ensure safe temporary accommodation, clean water, medicine, medical care, especially for vulnerable groups (the elderly, women, children...) and vulnerable groups;
Mobilize all resources to support immediate overcoming the consequences of natural disasters with the spirit of "where the water recedes, clean up", actively handling the consequences of natural disasters, ensuring living conditions for people;
Closely coordinate with functional units to urgently repair essential infrastructure: transportation, electricity, communication; timely statistics of damage, proactively support the most disadvantaged in advance, prioritize the restoration of schools, health stations, and urgent civil works so that people can soon return to normal life.
