According to Good Data Corporation, "When the Phone Rings" has held the No. 1 position for the second consecutive week on the chart of the most popular Korean dramas of the week.
Last weekend, "When the Phone Rings" aired its final episode (episode 12) on MBC with a rating of 8.6% - the highest record in its entire broadcast time.
The film's happy ending satisfied most audiences. However, there was some controversy regarding the use of fictional country names, which angered international fans.
Along with the heat of the film, the male lead Yoo Yeon Seok also maintained the number 1 position on the most notable TV actor chart. The female lead Chae Soo Bin ranked 4th.
Coming in second after “When the Phone Rings” on the drama rankings is JTBC’s “The Tale of Lady Ok.” The two main actors, Lim Ji Yeon and Choo Young Woo, took second and fifth place respectively on the cast list.
In its final week of broadcast, SBS’s “The Fiery Priest 2” remained at No. 3 on the list of dramas. The male lead Kim Nam Gil ranked No. 7 on the actor rankings.
tvN's "Love Your Enemy" ranked No. 4 in its final week of airing, with stars Jung Yu Mi and Ju Ji Hoon ranking No. 7 and No. 8, respectively.
“Squid Game 2” was not included in Good Data Corporation’s rankings because it is an online movie, but the four actors in the movie still swept the Top 10 of the actor rankings.
Lee Jung Jae ranked 3rd. Meanwhile, T.O.P, Gong Yoo and Lee Byung Hun ranked 6th, 9th and 10th respectively.
