The incident took place around 9:30 am on April 14, during recess. While standing in the yard, 3 female students suddenly had a stainless steel railing from the 4th floor hit.
Shortly thereafter, the children were taken to emergency by teachers and schools at Vinh City General Hospital and Nghe An General Friendship Hospital.
According to the initial information, one of the three children suffered a head injury and was being monitored, the remaining 2 were lucky to be slightly injured.
At the scene, the incident area has been blocked to ensure safety and serving the investigation. Leaders of the Pedagogical Practice School and Vinh University were quickly present, coordinating with the functional forces to check the entire railing system and corridors to review and overcome the potential risk.
The image at the scene shows that a railing is broken, falling straight to the school yard - where students often focus on the break time.
The representative of Vinh University confirmed the incident and said that the incident happened to be a pedagogical practice school, causing three female junior high school students to be injured.
"This is an unfortunate incident, we immediately organized emergency students, coordinated with families and hospitals to best treat them, and coordinate the authorities to clarify the cause of the incident," said the representative of Vinh University.
